Without Bruce Pascal, this project would have never been approached. His purchase of the famed “Transitional” Pink RLBB in Fall 2000 for $72,000 drove interest for the RLBBs to a new level. More than ever, collectors were focusing on the 30+ known buses and their value was climbing. The mission of the project was to create a fantastic replica that all collectors could enjoy, while at the same time protecting and enhancing the value of the small number of originals known to exist from 1968.
